Call recording (VOIP)

Call recording is a feature present in both client and server side software’s provided by Astrizon Technology solutions. This is a valuable benefit specifically when there are law obligations or most importantly quality control. On this server each call can be recorded (selectable by route/user) irrespective of the codec used (all common codecs are supported). The recordings are done using separate low priority background thread which doesn’t affect the call quality in anyway. These files are usually stored on a separate hard disk to not affect the I/O speed on the primary disk where the VoIP server is installed

 

The recorded voices are stored in compressed and encrypted format allowing for easy later playback or export by the administrators from an easy to use interface. To enable voice recording for a user, just open the “users and devices” form from the Astrizon Manage, select the user(s), switch the “Functions” tab and tick the “Recording” checkbox. You can listen to recorded conversation anytime later from the “CDR records” form using the by selecting the “Recorded Conversations” radio box.

The Real time call listening is another feature to allow more control over your server/callcenter useful for call inspection by supervisors or for quality control. This feature is working even if the call recording is not enabled for all calls where the RTP is also routed by the soft switch. (This can be forced per user or route using the “Users and devices” form, “Edit” page, “Route RTP” settings) To listen in a running call, just open the “Current calls” form, right click to any call and select “Listen current call” or “Voice here”.

All these features are present in the VoIP server primary package without any additional cost.

  • Ring a phone number (callback service by access numbers often called as ANI/DID callback or Pin less Callback)
  • Click on a web URL (called Web Callback)
  • Sending an SMS message (called as “SMS callback”)

Broadcast Voice

The Astrizon Technologies provides an automated mass dialing solution where hundreds, or thousands of numbers are simultaneously dialed, and an automated connection to an IVR occurs when answered by a person.

For more complex solutions, where the IVR needs to transfer calls to a Live Agent, rather than dialing a fixed number of outbound lines the system can be told how many Live Agents are available and it decides how many numbers to dial based on how many Live Agents are busy. There is a further option for these Agents to log into the predictivedialler.net system, which means that the system knows exactly how many agents are available and whether they are ready to take calls. Using this latter mode there is no need to manually adjust the dialing rate on the Broadcast dialer at all.

In all cases, the operation of the campaign can be monitored live from a web interface. This shows how many lines are being dialed and what the results of previous calls have been. It also shows how many calls are in progress to Live Agents in cases where Live Agents are used.

Video Meetings and Conferencing

Piloting a conference between two or more participants at different sites by using computer networks to transmit audio and video data.
